Climate Dramaturgy is an ethos for making theatre in the context of climate crisis, developed in the UK. Climate dramaturgy focuses on creative form, relationships between collaborators and ways to hold on to hope in a time of fear. Led by artists for artists, and influenced strongly by decolonising and post-capitalist movements, it offers a holistic approach that seeks to enable a transformative mindset, advocating for diverse aesthetics and artistic practices to be at the heart of climate care.
